The practice is held in a space called a Shala. A sacred space dedicated to Sadhana, spiritual or devotional practice.

In devotional practice, one engages all the senses in contemplation of the Divine. In practices of adoration and service toward the sacred, one invites the divine into the inner heart space.

Observing the cosmic presence or vibration, receiving and releasing blessings, the attention shifts from outer distractions towards contemplation of the true Self.
