Congratulations to the TUSPM Sports Medicine Club (AAPSM) for being selected by their peers as the Student Club of the Year!

The club has been very active volunteering at events such as the Boston Marathon Medical Tent, Penn Relays Medical Team, Broad Street Run Expo, Pennsylvania Special Olympics with Fit Feet at Villanova University, and the Philadelphia Marathon.

On campus, the Sports Medicine Club has hosted events with the following companies: Altra, Brooks, Hoka, Asics, New Balance as well as a Day of Sports Medicine with leaders from the American Association of Podiatric Sports Medicine (AAPSM). Workshops on ligament reconstruction and taping allowed members to get first hand exposure. Leadership was proud to represent TUSPM at the annual AAPSM Conference held this year in Columbus, Ohio.

Congratulations to the TUSPM Class of 2025 who we celebrated earlier this week as they were conferred their Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degrees. It was an exciting time for family, friends, and the TUSPM and Podiatric medicine communities to salute these doctors as they begin the next stages of the medical careers. We have enjoyed watching you learn and grow and are excited to see how you impact the field of podiatric medicine and the lives of all you treat!
