More About Azima

Andrea Kocerha is a PA State licenced Massage Therapist (#MSG003989) with more than 15 years of massage and bodywork experience. She studied massage at Omega Healing Arts School, received her Co-Active Coach® training from Co-Active Training Institute (CTI), and has a BA in Interpersonal Communications and Theatre from Wilkes University. Andrea has advanced training in Oncology Massage and is also trained in Somatic Experiencing® (SE Work®), a body-oriented approach to healing trauma and stress-related disorders.

In addition to her private practice, Andrea worked with Visiting Nurses Association of Philadelphia for 7 years providing hospice massage to terminally ill patients, and is a preferred provider for Society for Oncology Massage and Unite for HER, a non-profit organization that provides wellness programs for women with breast cancer.

Prior to becoming a massage therapist, Andrea worked in the arts and entertainment industry for nearly 20 years. After reaching a point of work and life burnout which resulted in physical health issues, she re-created her life and re-aligned with her life-purpose to nurture and support others through physical and emotional transitions. She brings humor, compassion, experience, and active listening to each treatment session along with the intention to help people feel better in their bodies and their lives.
