We've had quite an eventful week!

On Monday, our youth representatives voiced their grievances on the state of LGBTQIA+ Affairs for youth in Pennsylvania to the Office of the Governor of Pennsylvania. This was a much needed conversation between our youth and governor so they can have their voices heard directly, and request equal protections for all youth across the state. This was also a fun time getting to make new friends with members of the The Attic Youth Center and The Rainbow Room, while advocating for gender-affirming healthcare for youth in the state of Pennsylvania! And we had a run-in with Melissa Cerrato for PA on our tour of the Capitol!

It's always a great time connecting with local neighbors in our backyard! Thank you so much to Ashleigh Strange of Pennsylvania Commission on LGBTQ Affairs for your continued support, and thank you to Pennsylvania Youth Congress for your advocacy!

It was an honor to be listened to, affirmed, and supported by our government. It's even more of an honor to speak on behalf of our youth community here at the Resilience Resource Center.

Now more than ever, it is imperative that we support our local community centers that offer programs to all members of or community, especially our youth.

Welcome to our Saturday night community! You're invited to bring a friend, meet new people, or come solo and show off your fabulous self. You can enjoy refreshments, watch a movie, play a game, or simply hang out and unwind. Being a part of a supportive community is crucial for building resilience.

Enjoy a safe and welcoming environment for all ages and identities. Come and relax, sip a coffee, engage in activities, and spend time with friends. Feel comfortable being yourself and meeting new people.

We're inviting q***r creatives of all kinds to help us prepare for our upcoming Art & Resilience program launching this August culminating in a community art show this October. Share your talents, support q***r youth, and potentially host your own space at the event!

Tomorrow, Wednesday, July 16th: RESILIENCE RESOURCE YOUTH - Just Dance Party!

Put on your dancing shoes! This week, we invite you to a fun-filled game night featuring Just Dance. And if you're not feeling up for the motion, don't worry. Our living room will be open for reading, socializing, and chatting. Come enjoy the evening together.

Join us for our weekly event that offers a safe space for LGBTQ youth and allies to connect, have fun, and build community. Our living room will be open for reading, socializing, and conversation.
We will kick off the evening with an engaging art activity, followed by time to socialize!
