On Thursday, March 5th, in recognition of Women’s History Month, Philadelphia City Council acknowledged women of impact in our city. Our CEO, Susan Post, was recognized for her dedication to building communities of support and influence, strengthening community bonds, and creating neighborhood spaces for care and connection.
Council Member Cindy Bass stated, “Susan Post, a long-term resident of Hunting Park, has devoted over 20 years as chief executive officer of Esperanza Health Center to improving health care access and quality of life outcomes, providing culturally responsive care that dignifies patients, and under her leadership, Esperanza serves more than 15,000 patients annually across three sites through comprehensive medical, dental, behavioral health, and community health services.”
We are grateful for Susan and all the women at Esperanza who devote everyday to serving our communities. 💗
