Did you know Lutheran Settlement House has a farm stand & food pantry on Thursdays? Did you know all the food items are free? Come check it out tomorrow - I'll be there with an amazing recovery advocate from Healthy Minds Philly providing free mental health assessments and resources on how to feel better, less stressed, and what to do and where to go for mental health care. Beat the heat and come early! 9:30am-11am. Get a check up from the neck up!

Here are the details of the food pantry, located at 1340 Frankford Ave:

The food pantry provides a variety of free, healthy food to anyone in the community, regardless of age, income, immigration status, sexual orientation or gender identity. No ID or income verification is needed. The food pantry is open Monday through Friday 9am-3pm, and while the items we have in stock vary, we try to maintain a variety of shelf stable food, fresh produce, and dairy, meat, and vegetarian options. Visitors are welcome to come as often as they need, but most visitors come to the pantry on a weekly basis.

A Choice Pantry and Farm Stand is available seasonally (April through October), and invites visitors to shop for items of their choice, free of charge.

The food pantry and farm stand strive to reduce food and plastic waste! Please bring your own bag if possible. While we try to keep paper bags available for those who need them, we cannot guarantee that they will be available.

Looking for something to do on this ⛅️ day? Stop by the Transition Fair at PSD. I’ll have a table going throughout with lots of resources and info on mental health. There will be free mental health assessments where you can get a “check up from the neck up.” 🫶
