There’s a winter storm forecasted for this weekend so please remember these three helpful tips:
• If you need water emergency services at your property during or after the snowstorm, make sure your curb stop box is cleared and accessible.
• Be a good neighbor and make sure snow is cleared from around fire hydrants which can save valuable time in case of a fire.
• If you live near an inlet or storm drain, avoid shoveling snow onto it, instead make sure the opening is clear to help prevent flooding when the snow begins to melt.
