NursePartners was proud to attend the Pennsylvania Department of Aging presentation on the PA CareKit (https://www.pa.gov/agencies/aging/pa-carekit). The kit is part of Aging Our Way PA, the 10-year strategic plan developed by the PA Department of Aging under the direction of Secretary of Aging for Pennsylvania Jason Kavulich. It strives to assist all those who find themselves in a caregiver role that need direction. Amongst other things, it provides a place to start which is sometimes the most difficult place when you are suddenly in a position of caregiving for a loved one. The CareKit also provides a plan loaded with prepared questions at each step of caregiving, and a tailored resource guide based on an interactive quiz.
