Yes, the 16th Annual PAWS Mutt Strut is ON for tomorrow! There’s some light rain in the forecast, and we’re looking forward to a great event anyway. Online registration is still open until 3pm today at pawsmuttstrut.org, and you can also register in person at the event.

Check-in opens at 10am, and we strut at 11. See you at The Navy Yard!

In addition to the walk, we still have all of our planned activities in store, including:
• Doggy yoga with Focus Barre & Yoga
• Ask the Vet, Ask the Trainer
• Paw print painting: bring home a painting made by your dog!
• Doggie ice cream and cookies: treat your pup to a dog-safe treat!
• Canine agility course with Opportunity Barks: run through a tube, jump hurdles, and other tricks!
• Costume and talent contests
• Food trucks
• Thousands of dollars worth of amazing items being raffled
• PAWS 2023 calendars will be making their debut ($15)
• Plus, dozens of vendors offering handmade goods, pet supplies, pet services, and much more!

Wanna become a barre instructor?! Or just want to deepen your practice and understand more about your body and its movement in a barre class?

We're bringing back our barre teacher training! The training starts with a weekend-long intensive overview, but doesn't stop there. In addition to the weekend intensive where you'll develop strong foundations, you'll also receive individual coaching towards planning and teaching your very first class. You'll become a member of our professional learning community - an incredibly special place where we all come together to grow, learn and understand ourselves, our bodies and the world more deeply through movement.

Training includes:
🔥 2 days of all-day, hands-on, in-person training
🔥 3 individual coaching sessions with Adina or Jill (in person or zoom)
🔥 1 private practice class for you and your friends (includes Jill or Adina's attendance and feedback afterwards)
🔥 FBY's signature class building guide and training handbook
🔥 a month of unlimited classes to take class and observe our classes

Life’s short, eat dessert first 🍨

If you’ve ever thought to yourself, why do Tuesdays even exist (srsly they are the worst day of the week and that is a hill I will die on), we’ve got just the event to make Tuesday, August 16th a little less of a Tuesday! We’re partnering with our neighbors over at to bring you Dessert First Barre and Yoga!

On Tuesday, August 16th, come take yoga with Cat or barre with Isabelle T at 4:30pm, and then head on over to Jeni’s where they’ll be waiting to treat us to some sweet treats!

FBY is hiring! We are looking to expand our work exchange program and add some friendly new faces to our behind-the-desk team!

What is the FBY Work Exchange program?
Our work exchange program offers the chance for yogis and barre stars to exchange their time for unlimited classes at the studio. In exchange for working behind the desk at least once weekly and one weekend morning each month, work exchange participants receive free, unlimited classes at the studio!

This position is perfect for anyone who loves sweating local and supporting independent boutique fitness, enjoys meeting new people, and has a non-traditional or flexible schedule (availability mid-morning and weekday evenings is huge!).
