Join us in sacred movement and radical remembrance. Twerking Through the Misogyny is a space where we gather in embodied resistance, joy, grief, and reclamation of our sacred vessels. We come together to transmute the weight of misogyny — its insidious threads woven through culture, lineage, and body — and transcend it through collective rhythm, rooted truth, and embodied liberation.

This is a container for all bodies, all expressions, all truths. No performance. No gaze. Just you, in your fullness. This is a dance of remembrance — of your innate power, of ancestral rhythm, of movement as a form of prayer and protest.

We will gather in community to awaken our hips, shake loose the shame, and sweat through the lies we’ve been told about our bodies and worth. We will move not for spectacle, but for sovereignty — reclaiming the sacredness of twerk and intuitive movement as technologies of healing, resistance, and joy.

✨Schedule:

2:00 PM – Arrival. Settle in. Breathe. Ground. Grab a drink if you desire. Jaya Kava Elixir Bar Opens now. This is a soft entry — space to land in your body and the earth beneath you.

3:00 PM – Twerk Techniques: Transformative Wellness with Kim + Jai Buddhi will guide in an movement experience that ignites the wisdom of the hips, the root, and the power of sensual embodiment as a healing tool.

4:00 PM – DJ Krystal Fey will take us deeper into the dance floor with a soul-forward set designed to activate joy, release, and raw presence.

5:00 PM – DJ Indigo continues the journey, guiding us through sonic waves that invite full-body freedom and intuitive expression.

6:00 PM – We close in circle. A space to integrate, share, witness, and honor what’s been stirred, released, and reclaimed.

WE DID IT! We danced for a cause on 3/29 and it was so darn fine! 50 humans came through the side yard and 5 more sent in donations, pushing us past the $1000 mark in total funds raised via door sales and food and drink! 🥳🥳🥳

We REALLY GOT BLESSED UP with a GORGEOUS 80 DEGREE DAY in March! Grateful for the divine alignment of postponing it by two weeks to catch that snip of warmth! 🌞

We enjoyed a yoga flow to loosen up with Jai Ma , an epic shake ur b***y all afternoon dance party with , and a most glorious bath of sonic healing by at sunset!!!🥹 and we deeply implanted the intentions of our healing vibrations rippling thru the earth and the ethers towards all beings 🌬️

Folks donated $10-50 for entry and no one was turned away due to lack of funds! ❤️

FULL 🏦 DISCLOSURE: After paying ourselves out for organizing (modestly!) and covering costs of items used to make this happen; we were able to send out 50% of total registration ticket sales (which were $900) to the mutual aid fund directly supporting women, children, and those in need of essential items via a link in bio (currently linked in stories)

And as promised, 20% of our total income on this day from food and drink donations were shared with the Gaza Soup Kitchen . 🍉

BOTH of these projects are about 99% funded on TODAY —- head to our stories NOW to contribute directly and push both of these campaigns to their fully funded finish line!!! 💗

Join us for a magical evening under the stars as we gather for the Wonder Sessions Open Mic, outside!!! On the enchanting night of Wednesday November 6th, we’ll transform our side yard into a communal oasis of creativity, laughter, and FUN.

This event is especially festive as we’ll be celebrating the vibrant spirit of Yoni the day before his birthday! Yoni’s radiant energy resonates deeply with all who know him, and what better way to honor him than with an evening of creative expression? We invite you all to come and share your talents!

Whether you’re a budding poet, an acoustic artist, or simply an enthusiastic supporter of local talent, this open mic is a platform for all. Cozy up in our inviting side yard with fire pits, surrounded by flickering fairy lights, the gentle sounds of nature, and the warm glow of community. Feel free to sign up for a slot to perform or just come to soak in the inspiration.

Comfort, nourishment, and kava cocktails will abound as Jaya Kava serves up delightful drinks to stimulate the mind and soothe the soul as well as a yummy vegan soup to keep us warm and nourished. Let’s celebrate not just Yoni’s special day, but also the collective energy of our creativity
