Some lessons take years to learn. This one took watching someone mistake convenience for a crisis. 🎯

You can love your child deeply, show up for every school event, pay the tuition, arrange the playdates, and still be told you’re “gatekeeping” just because you won’t agree to a change that disrupts everything.

Here’s what I’m learning:

✨ His urgency is not my emergency.

✨ I am not his mother. His feelings are his to carry.

✨ That’s his. This is mine.

You can say no without explaining. You can be kind without carrying. You can love your child and still let a grown adult manage their own anxiety.

Sending this out for whoever needs to hear it today. 🤍
