A sweet moment shared with this firefly lightning bug friend that continued to fly into my hair over and over again. I’m also filled with joy and a clean mind as I’ve been practice a more mindful practice in everything I consume. Ive cut out unnecessary energies, foods, alcohol and processed sugars. I’ve added more mindfulness in my daily routines becoming more organized, less cluttered, and my body & mind are so in sync. I’ve always been healthy but working out and eating even cleaner has been such an asset to my soul. Feeling unstoppable and so inspired in every avenue of life. 🫶🙏🏻🌱🐝🐓

I was contacted by WHYY a few weeks back and was asked if they could interview me on having backyard chickens in Philadelphia, so after a few questions back I decided SURE! Why not. One of the key factors to identifying Morel Mushrooms is their hollow insides. Morels are easily my favorite mushroom and they pop up to say hello for too short of a time in my opinion. Like typically like to grow around Elm, Ash, Tulip Poplar and Oak though I have had the surprise of finding them under Pine. Many of you have reached out to me asking where you can find them and this is me telling you where to find them - for mushroom hunters never share their sweet spot 😂😉

Just a reminder that you don’t need a whole lot of land to homestead. & you also don’t need to homestead to bee sustainable.

Some tips on how to make the switch ::
You can start by switching from plastic to glass. Find a local refillery () where you can begin to buy in bulk and nontoxic essentials.

Want to take a step further? Try making your own cleaning products. Or, your own bread!

With the wheel turning over to Spring, I’m feeling all the new life & inspiration that wants to blossom into creation from the dormant Winter. The dark slumber has awakened & the vibes are definitely feeling light, bright and airy.

I can hardly wait for Morel season to pop off but at last, I’ll continue to stay present, patient and enjoy the Hellebores in full bloom! What are some things you’re excited about this Spring?
