A question we often get asked is, what is the best age for your child's first orthodontic visit?
We recommend children having their first evaluation around age 7. In most cases, no early treatment is needed - but this visit allows us to monitor growth and catch any potential concerns early on. Occasionally, early intervention (Phase 1 treatment) is recommended to correct issues while your child is still growing. Here is an example of how early intervention corrected an anterior crossbite, setting the stage for a smoother Phase 2 (full braces).
