This Giving Tuesday, let’s come together to support Jen! After celebrating her 23rd birthday last week—her first since her second double lung transplant in August—Jen is filled with gratitude and hope.

Now, she needs our help to cover mounting medical expenses and relocate closer to her NYC doctors to ensure lifelong care. Donate $1 to her campaign through COTA and consider becoming an organ donor to give others the gift of life.

Jen is an inspiration to everyone who knows her story. After receiving her first double-lung transplant in 2015, Jen’s health took a turn when her body began rejecting the lungs five years later. She waited for another chance at life for years, and on August 17, 2024, that chance finally came. A helicopter arrived at NYU Langone Health with a new set of lungs, thanks to an incredible effort involving the FBI. Jen’s family has courageously shared her journey through the Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) to help raise funds for her mounting medical bills. Every bit of support will help Jen stay close to her doctors at NYU and have the recovery she deserves.

Let’s come together to support her! Follow her journey and spread the word on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/jencantbreathe/ and TikTok https://www.tiktok.com/
Every share, donation, and message of hope counts. ❤️

Jen’s second double lung transplant is deeply rooted in the heartfelt connection to a cherished Alpha Chi Omega sister. This sister’s support and advocacy were instrumental in helping Jen navigate her challenging journey, highlighting the profound impact that community and sisterhood can have during difficult times.

A special thank you to Alpha Chi Omega for being the catalyst behind Jen receiving her new lungs and for sharing our story in their blog. This experience not only transformed Jen’s life but also reinforced the strength of the bonds we form through sisterhood.
