This training was a doozy, but so interesting and informative! Be on the lookout in the next month or two for MLD offerings in my practice.

Have you tried Sarga Bodywork yet? 👣

It’s pretty cool! The super slow, deep (yet broad) strokes are great for regulating the nervous system. 🧘🏽‍♀️

I offer this as a stand alone service in 60 or 90 minute lengths, or mixed with Therapuetic Massage in “North Meets South” for 90 or 120 minutes!

Once I receive my instruments, my Peaceful Pause enhancement (aka nap) will be morphing into a post massage sound bath 🎶

Seriously blown away by how much Thai massage is in Eastern Europe! I guess it makes sense given the proximity to Thailand, but how is this just starting to become more mainstream in the US?

**Reminder to my current clients** and a heads up to any potential new clients! My prices will be increasing next week, after which any services booked will be all-inclusive.

This means that my current enhancement services will be included, if you want them - CBD oil, cupping, cold stones, doTERRA's Deep Blue Rub, magnesium oil/other topicals, and any other fun stuff I add in the future. ✨

This is in addition to what is already complimentary in my studio - aromatherapy, hot towels, reflexology, weighted hot pack, heated neck pillow, and massage gun - to name a few!

The bare bones of this space are super cool and cozy, and I just can’t help myself in trying to up the ante!

I love the minimal aesthetic, but I’m on the hunt for some cool art to feature in there as well 🕵🏼‍♀️ Stay tuned!

New service, comin' at ya! ✨

Since folks have taken so well to my East Meets West service (Thai/Therapeutic split), I thought I would offer another variation. This new service will be half Sarga and half Therapeutic massage. This is a great way to try something new, without giving up the tried and true!

The inspiration for the name is...
North: Swedish/Sweden, hands 🙌
South: Sarga/Hawaii, feet 👣

Would you be interested in a third split service option?! Thai massage and Sarga? Currently taking suggestions for what to name that service...... 🤔

You heard that right!

Simply book online with your HSA or FSA card as you normally would with a credit or debit card, and I will provide you with a receipt after your session if necessary for reimbursement.

Please be sure to check with your employer and/or health insurance provider to confirm that massage is an acceptable use of your funds. You may need to be "prescribed" massage therapy by a doctor in order for it to qualify.

This is a traditional Thai floor mat used for Thai massage!

While I do offer Thai massage on my table as well, I prefer to use a mat. Since it is about twice as wide as the table, it allows for more variation in positioning - and there’s no way you can fall off, not that I would ever let that happen! I am also able to sit down and use my feet and legs more, which are my strongest tools.

Would you try getting a a Thai massage on a floor mat? Why or why not? 🤔

First attempt at self-recording part of a Sarga session! Not too bad… now if I could just get myself to play it cool and not look at the screen 😅

This stroke is a crowd favorite because it spans the entire length of the body, from your upper back to the ankle. Typically the pace of this modality is even slower than shown here, but for the sake of demonstration I sped things up a bit.

With Sarga I am able to deliver consistent deep, broad pressure. Because the pressure is so dispersed, the receiver is generally able to withstand deeper pressure without feeling pain like you sometimes do with hands-on massage.

Clients report feeling more grounded and less anxious after a session, and have likened the sensation during like being “steamrolled” or like “a tube of toothpaste being squeezed”… but in a good way 😂
