The Fil-Am Health Forum is a series of online events addressing health disparities facing the Filipino American community.

Dr. Anthony Cordero is the Director of the University of the Philippines Manila's Community Health and Development Program since June 2014. He also serves as the Chair of the UPCM Return Service Obligation Program and the Vice Chair for Medical Undergraduate Courses, Department of Family and Community Medicine of the UP College of Medicine since 2012. Since 1985, he has performed numerous community-based development and service work with various government & non-government institutions on programs dealing with community health & development issues.

Dr. Joseph M. Carabeo or simply Jojo, is a long time community-medicine practitioner ever since he graduated from the College of Medicine of the University of Santo Tomas in the 1983. He then has served several community-based health programs and national NGO (non-government organization) health institutions in various capacities: health trainor/educator, alliance and networking, advocacy and lobbying among others.

In 1989, he was one of the founding member of the Council for Health and Development, the national consortium of community-based (or grassroots-based) health programs or CBHPs in the Philippines. At present, he is President Emeritus of the Community Medicine Practitioners and Advocates Association or COMPASS and one of the convenors of the Solidarity of Health Advocates and Personnell for a Unified Plan to Defeat Covid19 (SHAPE-UP).
