Journey Into Inversions is BACK!

Join Tim Wagner this Saturday, November 1 at 12:30 PM in Manayunk for a 2-hour workshop to support you wherever you are in your inversion practice.

Whether you’re a handstand pro, learning to leapfrog hop, or trying to get off the ground, this workshop will be filled with skills and drills that encourage P L A Y! 🤸🤸‍♀️🤸‍♀️

We promise you’ll walk away with tools that you can incorporate into your yoga practice.

We are SO excited to introduce Shundra Palmore as this week’s ! Shundra graduated from our 200-hour yoga teacher training in December. She is a force, a light, and we are so grateful to have her presence and energy in our community!

You can catch class with Shundra on Mondays at 6:15 pm in Ambler and expect power, poetry and peace.

Current Mantra: Honor your mind.  Honor your body.  Honor your “you”.

Favorite Pose: Chaturanga Dandasana ( “yogi push-up”).

Why: The transitional movement from a high to a low plank connects standing poses to poses practiced on the mat.  This asana requires strength, balance and focus.

Least favorite pose: Frog.

Why: Ouch!  Still working on finding ease when practicing this pose.

What’s your favorite thing about Hotbox?  

This community offered me a place of refuge.  No expectations other than to be me.  From my 1st visit, I was welcomed as I am.

What’s the one thing you want to share with the Hotbox community? 

Yoga is for everyone.  No matter age, culture or body type. 

What are you passionate about right now? 

I have a renewed sense of freedom.  I’d remind everyone, you are and always have been free.

When you are not at Hotbox where can we find you? 

Experiencing life!!  In my backyard reading, at the gym lifting, vibing at festivals and cool restaurants.

It’s that time of year again…our annual October challenge is BACK!

We love returning to our mat, recommitting to ourselves, and sweating with our awesome community — that’s the magic of this practice 🫶

Join us for our 21-in-31 Challenge and take 21 classes in 31 days to win a prize. PLUS, all participants who complete the challenge will be entered into a raffle to win a gift card from either (Manayunk) or (Ambler).

Details:

$10 to enter (plus cost of membership or class packs)

All classes must be taken at Hotbox Yoga to count toward your 21, no exceptions.

No extensions. All classes must be taken between October 1 and October 31.

Track your progress in your home studio on the board.
