Good evening everyone and Happy Monday! We have so many wonderful Mental Health Clinicians. We have to introduce you to one of them, Ayanna Gellineau, MSc
Ayanna has her MSc in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rosemont College and is the process of becoming a licensed Professional Counselor. She has certifications in Trauma Therapy and is pursuing certifications in Treating and Empowering Survivors of Relational Trauma specifically Narcissistic relationships, emotional abuse and gaslighting. She approached therapy from the perspective that trauma disrupts, disorients, and interrupts the plot and narrative of a person's life. Ayanna uses an individually tailored approach, that is specific to each person's strengths and motivations, when working with clients who feel upended by trauma or severe stress.

Her approach involves blending cutting edge research driven approaches to create meaningful and lasting change. She is a member of the American Counseling Association and the Pennsylvania Counseling Association, both professional organizations promote the respect for human dignity and diversity and provide her with ongoing opportunities for professional development. Her clinical approaches include Forward-facing trauma therapy, Narrative Therapy, Psychoanalytic Therapy and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, which are all delivered through a multicultural lens that considers the impact of cultural scripts on the client's worldview and approach to problem solving.

She is able to help her clients identify and resolve how their past is unconsciously affecting and directing their present and causing them to not feel good enough, to feel stuck, or to repeat maladaptive patterns in their career and or personal life that result in the same undesired outcomes. Ultimately, Ayanna aids clients in finding meaning in these experiences enabling them to have a more authentic connection with themselves, so they can have a more genuine connection with others.
