This past weekend I attended a preceptorship In Nashville led by some of the most world renowned experts in aesthetics & dermatology in the region. Investing in yourself is never wasted capital. I believe in staying up to date, leveling up & pouring into myself so I can continue bringing top-tier results to my clients.

Not to toot my own horn… but when it comes to lasers and injectables, I’m pretty darn good at what I do If I do say so myself. From ablative fractional erbium laser treatments to Sculptra, bio fillers, and precision rejuvenation plans, I bring skill, strategy, and results.

This field evolves fast, and so do I. Continuous education, advanced technique, and excellence are the standard over here.

Black Maternal Health Week hits heavy every year because it is heartbreaking that in 2026, Black mothers are still dying at higher rates during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. We cannot keep accepting this as normal business operations.
Too often the narrative points only to obesity, hypertension, or other underlying conditions. Yes, health conditions matter, but that is not the full story. The real conversation must also include bias, unequal treatment, delayed care, stress, lack of access, and systems that continue to fail Black women.
Imagine what should be one of the happiest times in your life being one of the scariest because of the color of your skin! Black mothers deserve to be heard, believed, protected, and cared for with dignity. Pregnancy should not come with preventable risk because of race.
This week, and every week, we raise awareness, demand accountability, and push for solutions that save lives.
Healthy moms. Healthy babies.
Healthy communities. Let’s band together & do better and do what’s right🩷

This coming weekend I have the honor of speaking at a Women’s Symposium at Metropolitan Baptist Church in Philadelphia.

Over the years, I’ve been privileged to stand on many stages sharing my voice, my story, and my passion for health, wellness, and purpose. Each opportunity has been a blessing. But there are moments when God gently reminds you that it’s time to step onto new stages…spaces where faith, purpose, and calling intersect in a deeper way.

When that happens, you don’t take it lightly. You feel both humbled and incredibly grateful.

I’m looking forward to an inspiring weekend with phenomenal women, meaningful conversations, and a shared commitment to growth, healing, and walking boldly in purpose & Christ.

Today we are proud to introduce Sonya Wells, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and the CEO of Sonya Wells Public Health & Wellness Consulting. Her clinical expertise spans comprehensive primary care, women’s health, and advanced practice medicine.

Sonya is an active leader in public health, serving as the Vice Chair of Black Women Cultivating Change (BWCC) as well as serving on other professional boards while engaging in speaking engagements, community outreach, and wellness initiatives. Her academic credentials include degrees from Walden University and Indiana Wesleyan University, and she is currently pursuing a doctorate in Strategic Leadership. She also holds a certification from the Athletics and Fitness Association of America.
