Sunday reflection: What's one small win you celebrated with your child this week? β¨
I know some weeks feel harder than others. The meltdowns were longer. The routines felt impossible. The progress seemed invisible.
But here's what I've learned from working with hundreds of families:
Progress isn't always a breakthrough moment.
Sometimes it's:
π Your child trying a new food (even if they spit it out)
π Making eye contact for 2 seconds longer
π Using one word instead of crying
π Sitting through story time for 5 minutes
π Walking into the store without a meltdown
π Playing next to another child (even without talking)
π YOU staying calm during a tough moment
These micro-achievements? They're HUGE.
They're the building blocks of bigger changes. They're proof your child is growing, learning, adapting.
And they're worth celebrating.
When we focus on what's working (even the tiny things), we:
β
Build our child's confidence
β
Strengthen our parent-child connection
β
Train our brain to notice progress
β
Create momentum for bigger wins
β
Model gratitude and positivity
Your child is making progress. Even when it doesn't feel like it.
Your efforts are working. Even when it's hard to see.
You're doing better than you think. Even on the tough days.
So today, let's pause and celebrate. Let's remind each other that small steps forward are still steps forward.
Share your win below - let's celebrate together! π
(And if you can't think of one, that's okay too. Sometimes just making it through the week IS the win. We see you. π)
