Many people came to pay their respects at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church to a woman that was beloved. She had three children and many grandchildren. Her grandson eulogized her, honorably, and respectfully at the conclusion of her funeral mass. Her remains will be laid to rest, along side her late husband, at Cape May County Veterans Cemetery at a later time. The departed and her husband had two very different times in their lives, together. One raising their children, and another living life down at the Wildwood Crest, enjoying retirement and each other. In speaking with their son, he stated "My parents had a good, long run down there" and that they did. Many couples don't get to experience that "good long run" together after retirement. Often times, it's just one of them left...as the other has passed away. Every day is a gift, and the more time we get to spend in this life, especially with the one that you love, is a gift that needs to be recognized and cherished.
