This was last year's Holiday Party at Awaken Center for Human Evolution - Join us on December 20th for Meditation on Twin Hearts, Pranic Healing & Awaken's 2025 Holiday Potluck Party!
This will be Awaken's last big event before leaving this location. After two years at the Plymouth Meeting Mall, the mall is closing and Awaken is moving.
That means that the Pranic Healing events we've been doing at Awaken's Plymouth Meeting location will stop at the end of this month. In addition to several Basic Pranic Healing trainings at Awaken, we've hosted regular monthly meditation & healing events, and been a regular at the Awaken Holistic Expos.
Please join us on December 20 at noon for our last Afternoon of Pranic Healing at this location! As always, it will begin with Meditation on Twin Hearts, followed by individual healings. Then at 2 pm, we'll begin the Holiday Party. Bring a dish to share, or a snack for the refreshment table, if you can.

Congratulations new Pranic Healers! This was a remarkable class. Every student overcame a difficulty to be there. Some endured long drives on crowded highways; others pushed thru physical challenges or rearranged busy schedules. Did you know that many of the world’s most significant figures achieved extraordinary things while battling, or recovering from, addiction to alcohol and other substances?
🏛️ Leaders & Visionaries: The list includes history-making figures like Prime Minister Winston Churchill and President Ulysses S. Grant, who steered nations through critical periods despite their struggles with alcohol. Even the founder of psychoanalysis, Sigmund Freud, battled a co***ne addiction.
✍️ Artists & Creators: The arts are filled with stories of struggle. Literary giants like F. Scott Fitzgerald, Ernest Hemingway, and Edgar Allan Poe grappled with alcoholism. Modern masters like author Stephen King and musician Eric Clapton went on to achieve immense success after overcoming severe drug and alcohol addiction, proving redemption is possible.
✨ Spiritual Foundations & Redemption: The path of faith is often deeply connected to overcoming vice. Early figures like St. Monica of Hippo battled wine abuse in her youth. St. Matthias the Apostle is invoked as a patron saint for self-control because his teachings strongly emphasized the spiritual discipline needed to combat physical desires and overcome addiction. This powerful theme of overcoming is also seen in Venerable Matt Talbot, who turned a 16-year struggle with alcoholism into a lifetime of intense spiritual penance, as well as self-help legend Dr. Wayne Dwyer.

Princess Kate calls for more compassion and understanding surrounding addiction in a moving letter she wrote as part of addiction awareness week. "But still, even now in 2025, people's experience of addiction is shaped by fear, shame and judgement. This needs to change." The Princess and Patron of the Forward Trust concluded her message by urging others to share openly and listen thoughtfully in order to end the stigma and not allow addiction to "thrive behind closed doors."

About Me & Why This Page Is Called “Playing With Light”
My name is Alison Kritzer. I found energy medicine a few years ago, when several people close to me were in crisis and nothing seemed to help. Looking for answers, I went to a Healing Expo. Pranic Healing caught my attention, so I started learning.
The more I learned, the more I wanted to know. So in addition to becoming proficient in Pranic Healing, I also studied Reconnective Healing with Dr. Eric Pearl; Matrix Energetics with Dr. Richard Bartlett and Melissa Joy Jonsson; Angelic Healing and Reiki. To understand the science of how it all worked, I read the works of Dr. Rupert Sheldrake, Dr. Gary Schwartz, Dr. Bruce Lipton and many others.
Along the way, I came to understand that what we’re really doing with energy work is playing with light. Each of the 40 trillion cells in the human body contains DNA and that DNA gives off more than 100,000 biophotons of light per second. Those photons regulate the chemical processes in the cells. When we interact with them using focused attention, we change what they do. That is the practical application of a famous principle of quantum physics: the act of observation changes the outcome. It’s especially effective when we focus gently – when we "play". That is what I wanted to learn when I majored in physics roughly 30 years ago. But at that time, modern energy medicine – and the Internet itself - was still young and there was very little information available.
About My Healing Practice
Although I use a variety of healing techniques for friends & family, I use Pranic Crystal Healing exclusively in my healing practice. This is because, after working with many, many people both in person and distantly, I’ve found that it’s the most specific. If someone tells me they have a certain issue – joint or back pain, respiratory problems, arthritis, insomnia, anxiety, grief, etc. – there is a tested & validated Pranic Healing protocol that I use. There are even techniques to reduce lines & wrinkles (Pranic Facelift), lose weight (Pranic Weightloss) and sculpt the body (Pranic Bodysculpting). Depending upon the severity of the condition & how long it’s lasted, more than one session may be required. But I know from experience that the Pranic Healing protocols & crystals (which have been specially designed for Pranic Healing and are shown in pics on this page) work really well.
Because I’ve spent quite a bit of time studying & practicing intuitive connection, I am also able to give information from & about clients’ energy centers during healing sessions.
