Last weekend, our Community Engagement team participated in the “Off the Sidelines” Heart Screening Event, hosted by Edwards Lifesciences and the Philadelphia Eagles.

Jefferson Health physicians and cardiology specialists — including cardiothoracic surgery, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, sports cardiology, current cardiology fellows, and Jefferson medical students — provided heart health education after screenings conducted by Edwards staff.

Last Thursday, Jefferson Health Plans was proud to stand alongside community partners like Philadelphia Youth Basketball and Philadelphia Sisters for an evening focused on wellness, empowerment, and the impact of women’s sports through the Unrivaled Basketball activation.

Our ongoing partnership with PYB allows us to keep showing up in trusted spaces with resources that support youth athletes and their families, both on and off the court.
