I hate it went my girl is sick🤍

It doesn’t matter hold old your child gets when they’re not well.

1 yrs old.
3 yrs old.
6 yrs old.
10 yrs old.
14 yrs old.

You just want to make them feel better. Tonight I asked her what I could do and she said just to lay with her. We put on our favorite show and snuggled with our fur babies🐾

Lately she’s been getting sick on top of sicker. Urgent Care visits are becoming more and more. I pray her immune system gets stronger and updated blood work gives us a clue.

𝗦𝗢 hard when you live with a not to let those hard days beat you down and win.

As a 𝗠𝗢𝗠 with multiple health issues, I fight for the emotional and physical strength to get through those tougher days in front of my family. Basically looking like I have my sʜ*ᴛ together when I truly feel like don’t.

There are so many expectations society has set upon us as even if you don’t already have health issues.

It is 𝗢𝗞 to give yourself some grace.
It is 𝗢𝗞 to ask for help.
To 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗪 your vulnerability to those who love you.
To 𝗚𝗜𝗩𝗘 yourself a good cry or scream if that’s what you need.

It doesn’t make you weaker as a 𝗪𝗢𝗠𝗔𝗡, 𝗪𝗜𝗙𝗘, 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗡𝗘𝗥, or 𝗠𝗢𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥 to do so.

As somebody who has always liked to be in control, Lyme has taught her that you can't control everything—but you can control some things. Here's an excerpt from Courtney's letter to a fellow Lymie.
