Food and Wellness Network: FAWN

FAWN connects Philly families to food, formula, diapers, nutrition education, and wellness resources. FAWN is open to everyone. Please bring your own bag!

Open to all with no ID needed, it also offers health screenings, promotes healthy eating, and links clients to benefits and community resources. Food and Wellness Network (FAWN) coordinates a network of community-based food pantries offering nutritious food, infant formula, diapers, nutrition education, and other resource connections to families in Philadelphia. No ID is needed and there are no requirements to participate. Our weekly pantry schedule is below. Walk in appointments are not guaranteed, so please call 445-216-9766 or email FAWNFoodPantry@turningpoints.phmc.org to make an appointment. Frankford High School

Turning Points for Children: Food and Wellness Network

For many years the emergency needs assistance program was a small operation providing 500 pre-made non-perishable food baskets a year to low-income households. Founded in late November 2012, FAWN transitioned to a choice pantry model, broke ground on a new community garden, and started a series of nutrition education workshops. The FAWN program grew from serving 500 families to over 1,500 families in just one year. In July 2017, we opened a second site in Southwest Philadelphia and served 6,839 families across both sites.
