Y-HEP Health Center We provide young people (ages 13-24) with high quality primary and sexual health care regardless of your insurance status or ability to pay.

Looking for a nonjudgemental, smart team of heath care providers to support you with all of your health care needs? Look no further… The Y-HEP Health Center is your answer. Our goal is to provide young people (ages 13-24) with high quality primary and sexual health care regardless of your insurance status or ability to pay. Here’s what you need to know:

What type of care can you access at the Y-HEP Health Center? We provide primary care and sexual/ reproductive health care. Our primary care includes: well visits, sick visits, vaccines, and physicals. Sexual health care includes: HIV testing, STI testing and treatment, pelvic and breast exams, PAPs, birth control, pregnancy testing, HPV screening and emergency contraceptive (the morning after pill). Do I need to make an appointment? Appointments will always help (you’ll be seen quicker at your scheduled time); however you do not need an appointment to receive care. We see walk-in appointments on a first come, first seen basis. We also can schedule a same-day appointment for you! What will this cost me? We will see you regardless of your insurance status or your ability to pay. If you have insurance, bring your card or information. If you do not have insurance, we can use our sliding fee scale to determine the cost of your visit. We want to support you in all your health care needs, so we can schedule an appointment for your to meet with our Benefits Coordinator and you can work on insurance enrollment. YHEP is a registered BenePhilly Center. Our counselor can assist with the following.
• Food stamps
• Health insurance
• Medication copay assistance
• Head start & pre-K programs
• Money to pursue college
