Hello healthcare family, I felt the need to post due to the rising numbers of positive Covid cases. Please stay vigilant. Be mindful of your health and preexisting illnesses that may place you at higher risk for having a negative outcome after contracting the virus. Wear your mask! Stay 6ft away from those who are not living in your homes. Please recognize the differences between urgent verses emergent conditions. Do not place yourself at risk by going to an emergency room for a chronic condition that could be managed and maintenaned by your primary care provider or an urgent care center. Emergency rooms are for acute issues such as acute pain related to a recent injury, uncontrolled bleeding, shortness of breath, cardiac or respiratory distress just to make a few.

When in doubt you can always call your primary or emergency department to determine the best course of action and they will advise you. I am here for you if you have any questions.

Hello healthcare family, I have not posted in awhile l but wanted to share my heartfelt gratitude to all the nurses and doctors who place themselves at risk each day trying to save the lives of patients. We must all work together and help the community understand the importance of social distancing, hand washing and limiting outdoor outings to work and food shopping. Our seniors and small children are at risk. Lives are at stake.
