The Enemy Within is coming. And this one's different.

We're not here for surface-level conversation. We're not here to network over cocktails and call it community.

We're here to go two layers deeper.

The Enemy Within: Examining Internalized Homophobia Across the GBTQ Spectrum is a panel series creating a rare, honest space for gay, bi, trans, and q***r men to examine the shame, fear, and identity suppression that shape how we connect and why so many of us are still so lonely.

🗓 March 26th | 6–9pm 📍 Villanova School of Nursing, Driscoll Hall 🎟 Free

The evening includes a moderated panel with diverse GBTQ+ voices, open audience dialogue and Q&A, and an opening reception and after-party with drinks and snacks.

Get to know Amber Barnes, Executive Director of the LGBT Center of Central Pennsylvania and GLO Harrisburg. With a background in mental health and crisis intervention, Amber is dedicated to creating safe, affirming spaces for LGBTQ+ individuals. The LGBT Center and GLO Harrisburg are now together under one roof, providing a unified space for LGBTQ+ men of color, trans women of color, and the broader community.

Amber believes in meeting the community where they are, connecting individuals with essential resources, and fostering inclusivity. Her commitment to advocacy and empowerment drives the Center’s mission to support and uplift the LGBTQ+ community. Did you know Amber used to be a part of the team here at MBH?
