The #1 Food Mistake Women with Hashimotoâs Make?
Itâs so common that even I fell into this trap for decades, thinking I was doing the right thing and âeating healthy.â
My mistake was focusing on only calories even though I still felt exhausted, foggy, and absolutely miserable đŤŠ
Instead of calories, I should have been focusing on nutrients.
Calories and nutrients are NOT the same thing so letâs clear this upâŚ
đ˝ď¸ Calories tell you how much energy a food *could give you*
đ While nutrients tell you how that food will actually support your body.
Only nutrients will:ďż˝
- Stabilize your blood sugarďż˝
- Fuel your thyroidďż˝
- Nourish your mitochondria (the engine in your cells)
- Help you recover from fatigue and inflammation
When youâre dealing with Hashimotoâs, your body doesnât need less food,ďż˝it needs BETTER food. Nutrient-dense. Anti-inflammatory. Metabolically supportive food.
All too often my clients come to me feeling completely well fed, but in reality they are struggling and depleted.
So if youâve been stuck in the mindset of eating less and moving more and still not feeling better, it may be time to shift your focus.
