Why I Started Nebula Health

I started Nebula Health because I believe everyone deserves access to care—especially care that’s compassionate, trauma-informed, and rooted in real community work.

And that includes sexual health.
It’s health. It’s human. And it’s something we all deserve to talk about without shame.

For too long, sexual health has been treated as taboo, something to hide or feel embarrassed about. But the reality is—it’s a vital part of our well-being. And ignoring it only creates more harm, stigma, and disconnection.

At Nebula Health, we’re working to change that narrative.
We’re offering free and confidential STI/HIV testing, access to treatment, harm reduction resources, and real conversations—with no judgment, ever.

We're starting small but intentionally—with love, with honesty, and with a fierce commitment to meeting people where they are. Thanks to support from places like First Brick Clinic, we’re making sure those who test positive have access to providers and care options, no matter their insurance status.

If you're looking for support, resources, or just someone to talk to—we're here.
This work is personal. It’s community care. And it’s just the beginning.

Let’s change the way sexual health looks—and feels—in Philly. Together.

Transgender Day of Visibility, observed annually on March 31, celebrates the achievements and resilience of transgender individuals while raising awareness about the challenges they face. In the Philadelphia-Camden-Wilmington metropolitan area, approximately 70,000 adults identify as transgender, representing about 1.4% of the population—more than double the national average of 0.6%. In 2021, Philadelphia reported 423 transgender individuals living with HIV, with 80% exposed to the virus through sexual contact. Despite nearly universal awareness of PrEP among transgender women in the city, only one in three HIV-negative transgender women were using it in 2019. These statistics underscore the importance of visibility initiatives and targeted support to address health disparities and promote inclusivity within the community
