This piece honors Sonora Webster Carver, the fearless diver who made waves at Steel Pier in the 1920s. After a diving accident left her blind, Sonora continued performing for over a decade.

This tribute shines on Sonora’s courage and resilience while celebrating the unstoppable spirit and rich stories that make Atlantic City shine.
