Inner Vitality Experience:
Welcome to our intensive group program designed to empower individuals on their journey to living a healthier, more fulfilling life free of diet culture. Led by experienced professionals, our comprehensive approach combines fitness training, nutrition counseling, and wellness coaching to address the underlying factors contributing to your struggles with food, fitness, and body image. Over a period of 12 weeks we delve deep into your relationship with food, exercise, and your body, exploring emotional triggers, habits, and beliefs that may be hindering your progress. We work to remove barriers and build healthier habits, promoting sustainable well- being and self-confidence.

Prior to founding VITAL Wellness in 2016, Amanda spent 8 years managing nutrition services in hospitals. Amanda has also worked with numerous athletic teams, conducted and published research, and presented at several conferences. Our Story

In college Amanda Hollenbach, founder of VITAL Wellness, dreamed of opening a nutrition and wellness center with a holistic perspective. She believes that numerous social, financial, and psychological factors have a significant impact on nutritional and physical health. Because it seemed like such an overwhelming objective, though, she set it aside as a long-term, "someday" goal. ​ She spent several years working as a dietitian in hospitals, with progressive advancement in management positions. With these advancements came increasing responsibilities and more time devoted to work. She found herself working 60-80 hours each week and still answering work calls, texts, and emails on her personal time. Vacations were shortened or cancelled and personal commitments broken. Friends and family assumed that this was the life she chose for herself; that she was just a "workaholic" who preferred to spend time with her career rather than with them. By the time she turned 34, Amanda was completely burnt out. She had gained 30 pounds in 3 months and barely slept. She was arriving home after 12-14 hours each day too exhausted to exercise or prepare a healthy meal; her muscles ached and her nerves were stinging. Her personal relationships were suffering. To make matters worse, Amanda learned that the contract management company she worked for no longer had a contract with the hospital she was working at. She was losing the job she had sacrificed so much for. ​ This was the wake-up call Amanda hadn't realized she so desperately needed. It gave her the opportunity to examine what she really wanted for her career and personal life. She knew she didn't want to be tied to her career 24/7, unable to spend time with friends and family and constantly having to break personal commitments. She was tired of allowing stress to make her feel exhausted and sick all of the time. While working to restore her health and reflecting on the experience, Amanda learned just how significantly those external factors she feels so strongly about truly impacted her own health and wellbeing. She decided that "someday" had arrived. It was time to pursue her passion and in doing so, help others who wish to reach their wellness goals but can't seem to overcome the obstacles standing in their way
