Fireworks might be fun for us - but they can be terrifying for our pets. As we get ready to celebrate Independence Day, here are a few ways to help keep your furry friends safe and calm:

🇺🇸 Create a Safe Space: Set up a quiet, cozy area where your pet can retreat during fireworks. A crate, closet, or quiet room works great!
🎶 Soothing Sounds: Use calming music or white noice to help drown out loud bangs.
🔒 Keep Them Secure: Make sure pets are inside, microchipped, and wearing up-to-date ID tags - just incase they panic and try to escape.
🌿 Ask About Calming Aids: If your pet struggles with loud noises, give us a call to discuss options like anxiety wraps or safe medications.
🦴 Distractions Help: Keep them busy with a favorite toy, long-lasting treat, or enrichment activity.
