We offer a 600-hour program for those who want to become licensed in the art and science of massage therapy. Welcome to the Philadelphia School of Massage & Bodywork, the only private massage school owned and operated by massage therapists in the heart of Philadelphia. Our main goal in the community is to offer quality and affordable education and services in the field of massage. PSMB is owned and operated by massage and bodywork practitioners and our instructors are passionate about their work and offer their students the wisdom of many years experience in the field. It is our belief that by applying these standards of education with our specially designed curriculum, students receive a complete experience, both inside and outside the classroom as they implement the skills they learn in their everyday lives.

Join Tom Szelagowski LMT for an immersive day of learning, skill-building, and application
as you experience the therapeutic power of cupping therapy.
**Please bring or wear clothing that will allow for the application of cups to limbs and
back.
** Bring your own cups. If you have none, you can borrow the school’s. If you need
guidance on what cups to purchase, please contact Tom at

Course Description This one-day cupping therapy class is designed for LMTs seeking to
explore cupping therapy. Throughout the day, participants will gain a comprehensive
understanding of the theory and practical application of cupping, including safety
protocols and techniques for effective treatment. 6 CEUs will be earned.
What You Will Learn:
• How cupping works: physiological effects and benefits
• Types of cups and equipment: hard plastic and silicone (pinch, stem)
• Indications, contraindications, and safety considerations
• Hands-on practice with static and moving cupping methods
• Integrating cupping into therapeutic massage and self-care routines
Course Format Duration: 6 hours
• Format: Interactive lectures, guided demonstrations, and supervised hands-on
practice
• Certificate of completion awarded at the end of class (6 CEUs)
