Our main goal in the community is to offer quality and affordable education and services in t

he field of massage. PSMB is owned and operated by massage and bodywork practitioners and our instructors are passionate about their work and offer their students the wisdom of many years experience in the field. It is our belief that by applying these standards of education with our specially designed curriculum, students receive a complete experience, both inside and outside the classroom as they implement the skills they learn in their everyday lives.

Our 600-Hour programs begin in September! 🤲🏼

Students can enroll in either our Day Program or Evening Program, which are offered at both our locations — 📍Philadelphia and Quakertown

Both programs run 4 days a week, Monday through Thursday.

Students may graduate within 7 months* if enrolled in our Day Program and 8 months* if enrolled in our Evening Program. 🎓

* Individual student program length may vary due to PSMB closures for inclement weather, city or facility emergencies, student absences, and the student’s availability to sign up for Student Massage Clinic shifts and Community Outreach Events.

Most of the practices we use today have been westernized, but we cannot forget where the techniques actually came from — Ancient China, Egypt, Greece and Rome. 🏛️

There are reports that Julius Cesar used massage therapy to help his epilepsy. Egyptian tombs contained pictures of people receiving massage, which places massage therapy as a centuries-old form of medical care.

Massage therapy is a practice that has proven successful for literal centuries! Because it continues to evolve while honoring its roots. 🤲🏼🧡

When you book your massages with us, you’re not only getting a good price but you’re also helping our students gain valuable experience! ✨

Our clinic only offers 60 minute integrated Swedish Massage, which is a blending of different styles of bodywork and may include contemporary Western massage/Swedish massage, shiatsu, craniosacral, and yoga therapy. Our students are trained in pre-natal massage as well!

As always, if you need any special accommodations, please let us know. We will do our best to honor your request.

Out of all 350 different modalities in massage therapy, 75 are commonly used during practices.

So, if your massage feels the same, it’s time to think again!

Massage therapists listen to their client, assess their ailments, and can choose from many different types of bodywork to treat their client.

Some of these modalities include Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Sports Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Prenatal Massage, Reflexology, Trigger Point Massage, Aromatherapy Massage, Shiatsu, Thai Massage & so many others!
