Greenwashing is one of the most frustrating trends in the wellness and sustainability space right now. It’s when companies market themselves as “eco-friendly,” “natural,” or “sustainable”, all while lacking transparency and quietly outsourcing their materials and/or products.
But I’m not quiet about it.
Yoganomalous designs all artwork in house in Philadelphia, sources materials from Portugal and Vietnam, and assembly is done with a trusted manufacturer in China that has many certifications such as FSC, ensuring responsible forest management. SGS certifications, ensuring safe, non-toxic products. And are BSCI certified, ensuring fair and ethical labor practices. To reduce emissions, I choose Ocean Fright shipping methods, which is the most eco-friendly modality of shipment transportation.

I have a shop update, and a few changes coming to Yoganomalous. I am going to be raising prices soon.
I have avoided doing this for as long as I possibly can, but the cost of everything has gone up for me and my expenses... from the cost of each unit to the cost of paper and ink. Boxes have gone up in price, and tape has too. I literally can't think of something that has not gone up in price over the past year.
I have done such a good job keeping my prices reasonable despite it all, and raising my prices is very hard for me. It's not something that I want to do, but for the continued operation of Yoganomalous, it is something that I absolutely have to do.
Prices will remain the same for the rest of February, but come March there will be a price increase on all yoga mats, blocks, rollers, and massage balls.
In the meantime, if you were interested in purchasing a Yoganomalous product at its current price point, I would suggest doing so soon. I also have a handful of imperfect yoga mats, they are a little too thin or they may have a small mark on them, the point is they are not perfect so they are discounted. If you're interested in a discounted Yoganomalous cork yoga mat, please feel free to shoot me a message and I'll let you know what designs I have in stock that are imperfect.
