🎉 Welcome to the 2025–2026 Aramark Dietetic Internship Class! 🎉

We’re thrilled to welcome 26 talented dietetic interns to Aramark Healthcare+ as they begin their journey toward becoming the next generation of Registered Dietitian Nutritionists.💯

Over the next several months - through April 2026 - these future leaders will gain hands-on experience in clinical nutrition👩‍⚕️‍📋, community health👪, and food service management👨‍💼. Our accredited supervised practice program provides over 1,000 hours of real-world training, guided by our expert Aramark leaders.

💡Along the way, they’ll contribute to meaningful projects, tackle case studies, and grow through professional development—all while supporting our mission to deliver compassionate, high-quality care across healthcare settings🏥.

This internship is more than just a steppingstone - it’s a launchpad. By the end of the program and upon completion of their graduate degree, our interns will be eligible to sit for the credentialing exam📝 to become Registered Dietitian Nutritionists.

Please join us in celebrating this incredible group of future RDNs. We can’t wait to see the impact they’ll make!👏

One of our interns, Devon Martin, promoted an ‘Aqua Frescas’ hydration station at Houston Methodist Marketplace! Her retail business project featured a rotating selection of fresh fruit🍓🍑🍉/veggie🍅🥕 fusion drinks🥛. It was the perfect stop for cafe customers to get a healthy boost throughout the day.

✨ Grateful Beyond Words ✨
Rui Xiao, 2025 Aramark Dietetic Intern, is pictured here with all her preceptors on her final day of clinical. Rui said this, "On the last day of my clinical rotation, my coworkers gifted me with a cake and endless words of encouragement and good wishes. I feel incredibly lucky to have started my career with such an amazing team💯. They made me believe that this profession can be meaningful, joyful, and sustainable all at once. The first half of 2025 was genuinely a blessing to me because of them! Tres leches for our reunion"💕🍰

Intern Spotlight💡
My name is Rui Xiao. I completed my DPD program at the University of California, Davis, and earned my master's degree in human nutrition from Columbia University🎓👩🏻‍🎓.

I am deeply passionate about nutrition research🔬. During my undergraduate studies📖📝, I investigated how bioactive food components influence cardiovascular and endothelial function in humans. In graduate school, I focused on how different lipid emulsions affect membrane function in mice🐀. I hope to continue exploring and observing their potential applications in parenteral nutrition💉 and other areas within the field!

Outside of academics, I enjoy staying active and challenging myself with new sports🚴🏄‍♀️⛹️‍♀️ each year. This year, I started bouldering—a demanding yet exciting activity. Every session leaves me feeling the satisfying soreness of muscles I’d never noticed before. It’s been a fun and rewarding experience!

Intern Spotlight💡
My name is Megan McDuff, and I’m excited to be a part of this internship. I’ve always been passionate about the role of nutrition in improving lives, which inspired me to complete my Bachelor of Science in Dietetics🎓 at Kansas State University. Currently, I’m furthering my education by pursuing a Master's in Human Nutrition at the University of Alabama.
My professional journey as a personal care assistant👩‍⚕️, a dietetic research intern🔬 and a Chick-fil-A hostess has given me the chance to work in several unique areas of nutrition🍗🌮🌽🍉 and healthcare.
Beyond my professional and academic interests, I enjoy experimenting with new recipes👩🏻‍🍳🥘, volunteering in my community🙋, and finding creative ways to make nutrition practical and accessible.

Intern Spotlight💡
My name is Julia Nagel, and I am very excited to be a Dietetic Intern through Aramark! I graduated in May from Penn State University where I obtained a bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Sciences🎓. I am currently completing my Master of Professional Studies in Nutritional Sciences degree👩‍🎓 through Penn State as well.

I worked at the Center for Childhood Obesity Research🔬 and was President of the Culinary Medicine Club, a club for students to learn about the health benefits of food and cook nutritious meals🍽 together. Additionally, I was a student volunteer for THON, a student-run philanthropy that supports children and families affected by childhood cancer👦🏼👧🏼.

In my free time I love to cook👩‍🍳🍚🥘 for myself and others, stay active🏃‍♀️🚴‍♀️🏊, and discover unique local spots🏸⛹️‍♀️⚾🚣‍♀️ with friends.

My name is Lindsay Heaton, and I graduated with my BS degree🎓 in Nutrition and Dietetic from Western Carolina University. I also have a Master of Public Health👩‍🎓 in Nutrition from Liberty University.

My work experience includes a Health Promotion Technician at the Armed Forces Wellness Center, a Health Educator Intern at Montgomery County, TN Health Department, and a WIC Nutritionist👩‍⚕️ at the Cumberland County, NC Health Department.

My hobbies include traveling✈🛄, gardening👩‍🌾, and spending time with my family👪.

My name is Libby Lawson. With a strong academic foundation, including an M.S.🎓 in Nutrition and Dietetics from Metropolitan State University of Denver (December 2023) and a B.A.👩‍🎓 in Integrative Physiology from the University of Colorado-Boulder (2016), I am dedicated to advancing community health through nutrition education.
I am particularly passionate about addressing health disparities and promoting nutrition across all life stages.👨‍👩‍👧‍👧

My professional interests include community nutrition education, maternal🤰👶 and pediatric nutrition👶🏽🙍‍♂️👧, and integrated healthcare approaches. I strive to empower individuals and families👨‍👩‍👧‍👦👩‍👧‍👧, especially those in underserved populations, by providing accessible and practical dietary guidance👩‍🏫.

A Colorado native, I bring personal insights as a mother of two boys👩‍👦‍👦 to my focus on maternal and child nutrition. I enjoy creating wholesome meals🍽 that blend professional expertise with practical family recipes and outdoor adventures🥾🚴🏃 with my family. As a proud supporter of local Colorado sports teams, I aim to combine my passion for nutrition education and integrated healthcare to make a meaningful impact in my local community.
