our ideas of right and wrong are not absolute truth at all. they are simply deeply engrained beliefs and opinions that we have become attached to due to our experiences and the emotions, thoughts, and beliefs that we have attached to them, whether correct (obectively true) or not.

when we judge others as right or wrong, we limit each other, but more crucially, we limit ourselves. we box ourselves in like prisoners in the symbolic cage in our mind. We get stuck in ideas of right and wrong, good and bad, and our energy ceases to flow as it was designed to. We become the victim, or the savior, when we are simultaneously all of it and none of it. all of it is illusion.

we are here to surpass our conditioned beliefs of right and wrong, to be free from our own dogmas and mental limitations. it is not easy work (we WILL encounter challenges, self-doubt, distress, intense discomfort, and other roadblocks) but it is what I feel we are here to do, hopefully with an increasing amount of love and compassion for ourselves and others along the way.

strive to judge less. judgment is rooted in fear and unhealed trauma. endeavor to love more through this messy and beautiful process of Life. there are immense prizes waiting for us on the other side.

freedom is an inside job.

I am right there with you, in the beautiful mess, making mistakes and authentically going through the struggle.

even in times of darkness, the light is pouring in on us together.

Day 18 of 30 Day GlowUP // Scottie Sutra Yoga Staycation

Buddha Konasana / Bound Angle / Butterfly pose * Sit on your butt with the soles of your feet together, heels close to the pelvis.
* you can place a block, books, or pillow/cushions under your outer knees to support the hips in the pose. * Interlace the fingers around the feet * Sit up tall, belly firm, deep breath IN
* EXHALE , use the arms and core to pull the chest forward and down, towards the feet
Elbows bend and maybe add some light downward pressure into inner thighs to open the hips. * Looking forward with flat back as long as you can before rounding the back and releasing the neck. * Stay for 30 sec to a minute and breath LIFE and Space into your spine, hips, thighs, glutes, belly, back, and lungs!! @ Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
