Announcing the Heartwell Yoga Summer Camp Dates (so far…)! 😎

If you’d love your child to spend some time this summer:

Some of our winter after school programs began this week!

✨ 4-6 cozy weeks
✨A soft place to land after school
✨ space to decompress, move our bodies, breathe deeply, and learn tools for managing stress and big feelings.
✨ Yoga, mindfulness, and connection with ourselves and each other

These are all school-based programs. You can register with your school or on our website under “register for a class.”

This year, I’m excited to offer a discount for two or more teachers attending the training from the same school, preschool, or daycare. This would be a great way to make a commitment to include yoga and mindfulness in your school on a broader level.

✨ Learn how to integrate yoga and mindfulness practices into the rhythm of your school day in a way that feels organic and seamless.

✨ (Not so secret) Secret: This training is as much for the grownups that work with kids as it is for the kids 😊 We’ll explore the themes of play and beginner’s mind and learn strategies to support yourself in feeling regulated and calm.

✨ We are thrilled to have a fabulous group forming for our training in April. You can sign up for early bird pricing ($50 off) before February 14th. Link in bio to register.

✨ We also have a few scholarships spots available and we are prioritizing folks who are underrepresented in the yoga space (BIPOC & LGBTQ+) for these. The application for this is on the Teacher Training page of the website as well.

⭐️ Embodied Play: The Foundations of Yoga for Young Children ⭐️

Year 2!

This training would be wonderful for teachers, yoga teachers, caregivers, OT’s, PT’s, SLP’s, and anyone that works with kids in any capacity.

We’ll walk through the foundations of yoga for young children, how to make the practices of yoga and mindfulness accessible and engaging, and you’ll leave with tools you can weave into your work right away.

Dates:
🗓️ Friday, April 17th from 5:30-8pm
🗓️ Saturday, April 5th from 12:30-6pm
🗓️ Sunday, April 6th from 12:30-6pm

Investment: $350 (save $50 by registering by February 14th).

In lieu of holiday photos, my family wrote a poem together this year 💕 We’ll see you in 2026!

Peace
(a collaborative family poem by Jana, Shannon, Hart, and Cal)

Peace sounds like
birdsong, laughter,
someone you love returning home,
the quiet blanket of snow,
“would you like a snack?”

Peace smells like
lavendar bubble bath,
the first steps into the woods,
pizza on Friday nights,
the woodstove.

Peace tastes like
mint chocolate chip,
Grammy’s macaroni and cheese,
anything we eat together.

Peace looks like
a tree offering shade,
the red tailed hawk taking flight,
a smile at the end of a long day.

Peace feels like
a soft blanket,
and a worn spot on the couch.

We believe
the world is wide enough for all to be fed.
Every family deserves this kind of warmth.

We hope our love arrived gently.

Registration for the second Heartwell Yoga Kids Yoga teacher training will open on Monday, January 5th! I would love to have you join us.

This training is perfect for anyone that works with children (or hopes to work with children): yoga teachers, educators, parents and caregivers, pediatric OT’s, PT’s, SLP’s, therapists. You’ll learn how to integrate the practices of yoga and mindfulness into the work you’re spreading doing and have a solid foundation for teaching yoga to young children.

*2 BIPOC scholarships available
