My story: Where I was/Where I am now:
I was a set up for burnout as an OBGYN physician-mom juggling work and family obligations. As I entered my midlife years I was diagnosed with 4 chronic diseases- high blood pressure, high cholesterol, aortic valve heart disease and an autoimmune arthritis; all due to chronic stress, lack of sleep, and a poor diet!
I credit using what I learned becoming a Nutrition Health coach to change HOW I was living my life. Through diet and lifestyle changes I lost 50 lbs and soon stopped all the drugs I was taking. What a profound difference it made on my health! I swithched from a self-sacrifice lifestyle and stopped beating myself up. I embraced a self-care lifestyle that allowed me to balance my mind, body, and spirit so I could heal. I now look and feel 20 years younger than my chronological age, have more energy, mental clarity and emotional resilience!
I am on a mission to tell everyone that they too can live a disease free life for up to 90 years or more by taking back control of their health through diet and lifestyle changes - just like I did. I went rogue and I'm inviting you to join me.
