Congratulations to Glenda Gruber, registered nurse in the emergency department at Marshfield Medical Center-Park Falls, for recently receiving employee of the month.
The person that nominated her wrote, "There is always a “Mother Hen” in every facility and ours is Glenda Gruber. Glenda has been with the system for 17 years. She is a very seasoned ER nurse. We live in a small community, and I hear nothing but positive comments about the care she gives patients. Glenda is definitely a patient advocate and goes above and beyond for her patients. Glenda cares for her patients with compassion, acceptance, and sincerity. She has the nurturing quality to take care of anyone who comes through the doors of our facility. She is always willing to help you with any questions and takes her ER responsibilities very seriously. She looks out for safety and cost concerns for the patient as well as the system.
Glenda is very approachable to staff and colleagues. She is always giving of herself. She makes bags and items at home on her days off and shares them with her colleagues. She never asks for anything in return. She has even made items for our grandchildren. I cannot think of anyone more deserving of employee of the month than Glenda Gruber. Thank you, Glenda, for all you do for our patients, colleagues, and community."
