Supervises a team in the manufacturing of molded and metal stamped products during a 12 hour night shift. Responsible for meeting productivity goals without compromising safety or quality. • Maintains cleanliness and organization of Production floor.
• Works safely by following all safety policies and wears appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Ensures employees are held to a high expectation of safety.

• Performs other related duties and assignments as required.

Job Description
• Bihler of America is looking for an Electrical Controls Technician, responsible for building and developing control systems as well as maintaining/troubleshooting multi-slide production and assembly equipment.
• This is a night or day shift position – 5 days, M-F.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
• Build and develop Automation equipment of varying levels of complexity
• Test and troubleshoot machinery to ensure proper functionality
• Maintain safety functions on new and current equipment

• Familiarity with motion control programming and HMI development

Bihler of America, a metal stamping manufacturing company in Phillipsburg NJ, is looking for a Toolmaker responsible for the sequence of operations required to fabricate tools, dies, and fixtures and jigs and then perform those operations on manual and CNC machine tools such as lathes and milling or grinding machines.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
• Produce tooling items by milling, turning and grinding to tight tolerances using CNC machines as well as manual machines.
• Maintain Production Tooling.
• Build new cutting/forming tools.
• Build assemblies for Bihler multi-slide and Four Slide production systems.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• Positive attitude and a team player.
• Ability to read and interpret blue prints, schematics and engineering drawings.
• Must have a good understanding and knowledge of tool design, shop mathematics, blueprint reading, machining and assembly procedures.

This position is located in Branchburg, NJ near Route 22 in Somerset County. The candidate is responsible for providing technical support to our manufacturing process by means of equipment maintenance troubleshooting and repair. Systems to include but not limited to heating systems, mold presses, low pressure casting equipment & process ovens. Systems will include hydraulics, pneumatics, motor driven systems, as well as basic electrical components. Additionally this position will be responsible for performing minor repairs on mold casting tools and components. It will be necessary to read and understand blueprints, manuals, and engineering specifications pertaining to the function and operation of each system.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

Read, understand and follow engineering prints, and documents to accomplish the assembly, maintenance or repair of parts and equipment.
Have the knowledge and skills to maintain and repair tools and tool components within design specifications.
Maintain and repair mechanical components such as hydraulics, pneumatics, motors driven systems, and basic electrical components.
Test and troubleshoot machinery to ensure proper functionality.
Assist in maintaining a satisfactory level of quality and efficiency in the produced components.
Perform all other duties, as assigned.
Available for overtime and after hours calls.

JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Positive attitude and a team player.
3-5 years recent experience in maintenance and repair of equipment and machine systems and machine tooling.
Experience with basic machine assembly, machine tooling set up and troubleshooting.
