We found a surprise! While installing new windows at Saint Anne’s Center, the contractors spotted a penny in the brickwork. We were curious, so we looked it up. We learned that “penny-rolling” is a tradition used to show technical skill, to bring good “luck,” and sometimes to date the completion of a building.
