Preventative screenings save lives! 🙌🏾.

We’re happy we live in a world with such advanced technology, where health concerns can be detected before they become very problematic. 👏🏽

On Wednesday October 16, 2024 we will be hosting a Vascular Screening Event.
The tests performed check for:

•Carotid blockage (CIMT)

•DVT (ankle brachial index—-short name ABI)

•AAA (screens abdominal aorta for clots)

The cost is $129 for all 3 tests.

Carotid Intima Media Thickness (CIMT) Test. This non-invasive ultrasound test measures the thickness of the inner two walls of the artery; the intima and the media. An increased thickness caused by plaque and inflammation is strongly correlated to an increased risk of stroke and cardiovascular disease.

Physicians use CIMT testing to determine the age of the arteries. They specialize in stabilizing and reversing arterial plaque and inflammation, which can dramatically reduce your risk of heart attack and stroke.

If you have high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, family history of stroke, lack exercise, are a smoker, or have high cholesterol, this test may be beneficial for you.
