I'm totally miserable at this point. I have been in agony since my J tube placement a week ago. I kept telling the surgeons it was stitched too tight and of course they didn't listen. My skin is now breaking down under the external disk and the nonstop bile leakage has eaten my skin raw!

So this coming week my GI doctor is going to do a nutrition assessment to see it I wouldn't benefit from starting with intermittent short term IV nutrition along with my tube feeds as I am having horrible malnutrition related bloodwork readings. I am showing deficiencies in Calcium, Magnesium, Potassium, Iron Saturation with ketones in my urine showing muscle wasting from being burned as fuel since im not diabetic.

So I didn't update everyone after my colonoscopy... the large bleeding ulcerations in my ascending colon are gone! They did take a ton of biopsies even multiple of the ascending colon to look at under a microscope to make sure nothing is there that he couldn't see.

I also got into the internal medicine doctor on July 2nd because they had a cancellation.... if that cancellation didn't happen it would have been the end of AUGUST before she had any availability. So I lucked out big time.

I am nervous about my tube change today because it's at the hospital where the doctor who plain ripped out my first tube works and I told him he's never allowed to touch me again.... but I need a working tube because I need my meds and formula... without my meds I have only slept about 2 to 3 hours a night since Saturday and I'm exhausted

Well im giving my surgeon's office until the end of the day to get things figured out and a scheduled date for PICC line and feeding tube placement. If I don't get that then I'll be going to the ER as I am getting unbelievably dizzy even have fallen over once when standing up meaning im super dehydrated

Omg it never ends! They keep saying I need a covid test again even though it's a STAT written order, wait 3 days for the results a then schedule my PICC line placement. I'm like I have no feeding tube to put the oral antibiotics in and taking them by mouth made me puke all night. I have no way to get nutrition or even run fluids to try to fight this dehydration AND I can't do the IV antibiotics you ordered because peripheral IVs blow after about 6 hours so I can't guarantee that I'd finish the dose before the peripheral blows and I can't get any hydration in any way because I dont have a stable line. I've been without any fluids since SATURDAY now.
