The one thing that I can't stand about the feelings surrounding Valentine's Day.. Is the negativity that people bring to it.

Each year I hear people complain about it being a "pointless holiday" or it’s “singles awareness day.”🙄

I do believe that we should practice love everyday & not just today.. 🙌🏼

But in a world that is so consumed..it becomes difficult to admit when we’ve lost our way.

I think that whatever this day means for you, it is none the less an opportunity to practice love. 🙌🏼❤️

Give it, receive it, let yourself be full of it! 🥰

Tell those you love how much they mean to you, & if that special someone hasn't arrived yet..take today to love yourself.

Self- Love is the best Love!!

You don't need anyone to make you feel worthy, because..You Already Are!!

😱😍

Snow Moon. The picture was taken from the top row of seats at Red Rocks. At moonrise the city and the moon were heavily obscured by the brown cloud, so I waited an hour then things cleared up somewhat. I took the picture of the city and the moon separately at the same time, same place,same lens, same focal length. I moved the moon down closer to the city in post. I also made the moon smaller in post surprisingly! It just looked too big! That’s the scoop. The camera is a Nikon D810 the lens is a Sigma 150-600mm at full zoom.

2019 was a year of Extremes.😱

I experienced some of my highest highs and lowest lows.

It was a year of Stepping Out of Comfort Zones.👣

One that truly tested my boundaries and beliefs. 🦋

It was the year I took my first international trip to Costa Rica and 4 months later.. I sold everything I owned, dropped my cat off at my best friends house and moved there!! 🌴🇨🇷

If you had asked a year ago the vision I had for 2019, I would have NEVER imagined it was going to unfold in all the ways that it did.

Life in the jungle was a HUGE adjustment and forced me to see just how capable I am!!!💪🏼

It was the year of many firsts, good music, new friends, lots of sunsets, exotic fruits, wild jungles, saltwater and a whole lot of magic.✨

It also came with a lot of struggle, letting go, releasing fear and a lot of heartache but I made SO many incredible memories I will cherish for a lifetime!🙏🏼

2019 was Full of Growth 🌱& Expansion 🪐

I believe it paved the pathway for all that is to flourish in this new year.

Welcoming 2020 with open arms! 🤩

A R C H E S 🏜

This was the first stop of the trip and it was one of those unplanned adventures.

When looking at the map we realized we were only an hour out of the way to visit a national park that was super high of both our bucket lists!

We didn’t want to go to far out of the way considering the sun was going to be down in a few hours..

Turns out the timing couldn’t have been more divine.

Concluding the first night on the trip with the most beautiful sunset & moonrise over those beautiful red rocks. ☀️🌙💫

I immediately fell in love.🌴💚

The wild jungles, flowing rivers, magical sunsets, exotic fruits and a community of people who have created a life living in harmony with nature.

Costa Rica stole my heart.🇨🇷

This place pulled on every fiber of my being like a magnet and I knew I wanted to make a life here.

Reflecting on my life on the plane ride home, I dreaded the idea of going back to my service industry job.

I felt stuck in the matrix and it took a toll on me physically and mentally.😥

I realized that this is all my life is ever going to be if I don't do something about it!

If I kept waiting for the right time, or the perfect moment, I was going to be waiting forever!

I knew there was a better way, that I was meant for more!

Full Moon in Gemini ♊️🌖

This is the last full moon of the year — and decade.

This is such a powerful time for releasing all things that you might be holding on to or transcending old patterns or beliefs.

Allow yourself to create space for all of what you desire to flow abundantly into your life.

This moon is calling us to emerge into our most powerful selves.

Emergence awaits in the wisdom embodied by situations that challenge us.

They are catalysts for change and transformation. Allowing us to become our most authentic self.

We have come through many metamorphosis this past year.

There is a voice inside us that we must be true to, and that is always calling us forth, like some future form, the butterfly of our soul that claims her freedom. 🦋
