🌍💙 World Autism Awareness Day (April 2nd)
Autism is not a limitation—it is a different way of seeing, feeling, and experiencing the world.
Today, we raise awareness and reflect on how far we have come—from misunderstanding and stigma to greater knowledge, compassion, and inclusion. Autism is a complex neurodevelopmental condition, not a result of poor parenting or myths, but something that deserves understanding and support.
In many communities, especially in parts of Africa, autism is still misunderstood and sometimes linked to spiritual causes. This often delays diagnosis and care. It reminds us that awareness must go beyond science—it must reach cultures, communities, and hearts.
As we continue to grow in knowledge, let us also grow in empathy. Every child deserves to be seen, supported, and given the opportunity to thrive.
