The Young Living Difference
Hello! My name is Kory and I’m a distributor for Young Living Essential Oils. How did I get involved with Young Living? Well, I saw a chance at a great opportunity and since opportunities like this ae few and far inbetween, I thoight “Hey, why not give them a try”! Well, long story short, I took the opportunity and here I am.
Before I get into what it is I do and the products, I’d like to tell you a little about me. I’m originally from a small town in Northern Arizona. I’m a mother of 4, now adult, children. After my children’s Father passed away in 2009, things were hard, after all, caring for 4 young children isn’t an easy thing. I had to re-enter the job market after 11 years of being a stay-at-home-mom. I was able to secure jobs but none of them were life-changing, they just enabled me to get the bills paid and make sure our children had everything they needed. After years of going from one dead end job to another, I finally landed a well paid position as an Administrative Secretary for a Medical company. The job paid well as far as being able to keep my head above water. I worked that job for 3 years and decided I needed a change of environment.
In August of 2015, I made the move to Phoenix, Arizona. Wow, what a dramatic change that was! I was used to minimal traffic, every where I wanted to go was in walking distance and less than 30,000 people. To say the least, it was a bit overwhelming! Now, to start looking for work! I managed to find work here and there but never anything worth writing home about, mainly delivery jobs. Before I moved, I was in a 5 year relationship and well, that didn’t survive the move. I found myself trying to figure out what to do next. How was I going to be able to make it in this city? I was like the story of the Country Mouse venturing into the big City. Only difference was this Country Mouse wasn’t about to give up and run back to the Country! I decided I needed to try something dramatic!
I came across an ad for Young Living and sat down and clicked on the information button and began reading. Wow!, I was hooked! Throughout my life, I had always used Essential Oils from everything from cleaning to cooking. When I went looking for Oils in the City, they were hard to find and what I did find were not of any quality. They were filled with dyes, perfumes and fillers and a lot of things I can’t even pronounce. Youmg Living is different, VERY different.
