Today on World TB Day, we’re recognizing our TB clinic staff!

They show up every day with compassion, skill, and a deep commitment to our community. From testing and treatment to supporting patients every step of the way, they help prevent the spread of tuberculosis and protect the health of Maricopa County.

Every life lost to heat is preventable. Our community is making a difference.

Heat-related deaths have declined for the second year in a row in Maricopa County. Our 2026 heat response action plan continues efforts to expand cooling spaces and support those most at risk.

As temperatures rise early this year, take steps to stay safe and look out for others.
