Woahhh… found and cleaned up my MomMoms cookie jar! A special sacred vessel of home baked divine goodness. It was always full of treats… she would bake cookies from scratch… snickerdoodle, chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin and more, at Christmas time PopPop would make Lebkuchen (a classic German spiced pastry everyone looked forward to).

I’m not too into eating cookies these days… so I wonder if I can repurpose it for my lil spa?! Let me know in the comments if this is sacrilegious!?!

I want to mix up my signature bath salt recipe and offer it to my clients!!! It’s seriously too good not to share. My idea is to sell a large jar of it, then refill them from the cookie jar at a reduced rate. Anything to reduce the plastics and overconsumption. Ya or na?!?!

A perfectly timed card pull for today… so much so that I’m sharing. This one is about rebirth… honoring how in order to truly be present to the fullness of life… we do more than accept things as they are… by accepting that change is constant… we are forever becoming… and therefore must dare to remain open to shed parts of ourselves, ideas, identities, actions, in order to clear the way for new miracles. Discovering contentment amidst constant unfoldment, and the courage to do so is the message I prayed for today.

It’s been a long time coming. If you’re new here you may not remember everything that GetawayWellness has survived. First a psycho, then a pandemic, and then a fire. After the fire I had a tough time bouncing back after needing to move and revive again and again… and again. Today is a grateful touchstone in time because I did the shadow work, I dove into my own therapy, I healed my trauma and my mindset in order to begin again. Now, I am happy to announce that my new bespoke mini spa is open! P.s. I have plenty of new availability too 🫶🏼 God is Good!

Days like these make me feel so grateful to be alive. Sun shining, kids playing, pups outside… even the flowers are peeping out a bit. Today is extra special though because it’s my sweet little girls third birthday 💖. Cheers to baby Mila! 🥂☀️

Hopefully everyone has the opportunity to celebrate love every day. If it’s not fused into every day organically, maybe today is the day to find it waiting for you in a place least expected. Even if you spend the day alone, it’s a good enough time to do something nice for your heart. Get out for a walk, take some deep breaths of this cool fresh air, brew a cozy mug of tea. The love is all around, it’s up to us to let it in! ♥️ ❤️

I felt called to pull a card from “The Inner Temple Oracle” deck by artwork by -Louise
This gorgeous gem came flying out with a message of grace and of hope. Healing, a slow and steady process is an organic pathway, not a linear road. Life changes us and our situations constantly… which keeps us returning to wholeness again and again. Sometimes it’s important to surrender into a slower pace to fully & respectively process. Other times we must have the courage to continue living fully despite the unfinished canvas that is our masterpiece of becoming “healed first”. It’s certainly a deep consciousness shift that each person can feel into uniquely. 🙏🏻
