Our culture asks, “How much did you accomplish today?”
Yoga gently asks, “How is your energy today?”

We’re taught to push through exhaustion, override stress, and treat burnout like a badge of honor. But prana awareness invites something different. It teaches us to notice when our energy feels scattered, to regulate instead of suppress, to choose rest without guilt, and to value steadiness over speed.

When we begin honoring our energy, our choices shift—earlier bedtimes, walks in fresh air, nourishing meals, a conscious breath before reacting.

Energy becomes something we care for, not something we constantly spend.

And that shift? It’s powerful. ✨

This month’s community highlight is the one and only Luke!

A recent graduate of our 2025 Razz Teacher Training cohort, Luke has truly stepped into his role as a teacher and continues to thrive here at the studio.

Biggest takeaway from training: “Learning about the philosophy, definition, and full practice of yoga—not just asana. I gained so much insight into consciousness, unity, and the Eight Limbs of yoga, and how to integrate them into everyday life.”

What inspired you to become a teacher? “Karma yoga. I want to help others by sharing spiritual knowledge and creating a space where people can grow, ground themselves, center their energy, and turn inward.”

Most valuable thing you learned during training: “That I actually did want to teach. Once I let go of the judgments I had before teacher training, I realized I had been telling myself I shouldn’t or didn’t want to teach—when in reality, I truly did.”

Favorite pose: Malasana. “It feels incredibly opening while also strong, grounding, and strengthening.”

Favorite thing about teaching: “Helping people feel better when they leave than when they arrived—and guiding Savasana.”

What can students expect in your class? “A steady pace with consistent intensity and energy. A practice that helps you settle in, quiet the mind, and drop into the experience—no matter how you felt when you walked in.”

When can you practice with Luke?
Thursdays at 6:30 AM

Fun fact: “When I’m working with my real estate clients, I often try to share yogic principles to help them navigate the stress of buying and selling homes. Sometimes it works… sometimes it doesn’t 😂”

Bonus: “Some of the best yoga classes for me are the ones I can ride my motorcycle to.”

🌞 Last Call: Sun Salutations Asana Lab 🌞

There’s still time to step onto your mat and explore the heart of yoga’s most beloved sequence. Join Sarah for a hands-on breakdown of Surya Namaskar, where we’ll move with intention, connect breath to movement, and refine each transition with clarity and ease.

We’ll explore:
✨ Urdhva Hastasana (Upward Salute)
✨ Plank Pose
✨ Chaturanga Dandasana
✨ Backbends
✨ Adho Mukha Svanasana (Downward Facing Dog)

Whether you’re brand new to Sun Salutations or ready to deepen your understanding, this workshop offers mindful movement, supportive guidance, and space to ask questions.

All levels welcome. Bring your mat, your breath, and an open mind.

"Learning from others reminds us that we all have a story."

Through her classes, she creates space for connection, growth, and showing up exactly as you are. Her approach weaves thoughtful sequencing with real-time awareness—so what begins as movement often becomes something deeper: a softened breath, a lingering insight, a moment you didn’t expect.

She builds each class around a peak pose or theme, layering it week by week—never teaching the exact same class twice. Her longtime favorite posture, Pincha Mayurasana, reflects her philosophy: it’s less about achieving the pose and more about trust, patience, playfulness, and the willingness to wobble and try again.

Jenny’s favorite part of teaching? Connection—and the art of weaving a sequence that truly resonates.

Join her for Sunrise Warm Vinyasa on Tuesdays at 6:30am 🌅🧘‍♀️
